Island Update Ending October 19, 2002

WEATHER: Yes, we had weather this week. A rainy Sunday and a nor'easter on Wednesday & Thursday and a few harmless showers on Friday & Saturday. High for the week was Thu at 61 and the low was 38 on Tue. Wind gusts reached 38MPH.

Other than the angioplasty on Monday it has been a rather uneventful week. Aunt Jeanne and Uncle Dick arrived on Sunday on their way back to Maryland and stayed until Tuesday. The Nor'easter was fun because it hits the back of the house and gives rather interesting wave action on the water in the front of the house. This one was no were near as severe as when Pam and Greg got married. We did go to town to pick up a prescription and run some errands on Thu, but other than that we have just taken it easy most of the week. We have managed to accomplish lots of misc. things we have been putting off. Lots of wind this week, gusts to 38 mph, but unlike most years the house hasn't shaken like it usually does. It must be Lawyer Perry's doing, he is taking it easy on us this year.

That is about it for this week. Rather quiet. Love, Dad
